In 2020, the B.J. Howard Small Business Grant Program was established to provide financial assistance to small businesses that were accredited and affected by the natural disasters and public health crisis that occurred in Middle Tennessee. These included the tornadoes in March 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the floods in 2021.

Eligibility Criteria:

• • Small businesses with 25 employees or less

• • Operating in the BBB Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky service area

• • Having a B rating or higher with BBB

• • Having suffered financially due to weather, illness, fire, accidents, or any other obstacle
